在多數台灣人學英文的過程中，都是一個中文詞去找一個相對應的英文單字來表達，但是除了單字，英文中很常使用「組合」的方式來表達某個相對應的單字。

提到說服，你可能想到persuade, convince

提到鼓勵，你可能想到encourage

提到激勵，你可能想到motivate

但其實上面幾個單字都可以用 talk into來表達，

而且適用在日常生活和商業情況的口說中

來看看以下幾個我和學生上課時，經過問答過程產出的造句：

Jason試圖說服他的家教老師(就是我本人)用ChatGPT寫文章
(聽說不到一分鐘可以寫完，有沒有用過的人告訴我這是真的嗎?)

Jason tried to persuade / convince his tutor to use ChatGPT for(=to write) her blog posts. 

換成用 talk into

Jason tried to talk his tutor into using ChatGPT for(=to write) her blog posts. 
 

再來這個例子是本來要去運動，卻被朋友拉去打麻將
The other day my plan was to have a sports night, but my friends talked me into playing Mahjong with them.  
OR
The other night I planned to do some sports, but my friends talked me into playing Mahjong with them.    
Jason有個天使般的兒子，我問他平常怎麼鼓勵兒子去做一些事
Gladys: How do you encourage your son to do things?
Jason: I will give him what he wants. For example, today I encouraged him to walk by himself all day by allowing him to use the mobile phone for 10 more minutes. 

換成用talk into

Jason: I will give him what he wants. For example, today I talked him into walking by himself all day by allowing him to use the mobile phone for 10 more minutes. 
家教老師我怎麼鼓勵 Jason 多把剛學到的東西講出來?
Jason’s frd: How does your tutor encourage you to speak more?
Jason: She usually gives me some key words to guide/help me to think of an example.

用 encourage
Jason: She encourages me to make sentences or (to) think of an example by giving me some key words. 

換成用 talk into
Jason: She [ will talk me into / usually talks me into ] making sentences or thinking of an example by giving me some key words.
